Dr. Sabrina DiDonato

Full-time Associate Veterinarian

Sabrina's passion and admiration for animals began at a young age while she grew up surrounded by hamsters, rabbits, reptiles, birds, and a true love for cats. Fueled by her dedication towards advocating for the wellbeing of all types of animals has driven her to naturally pursue a career in veterinary medicine.  After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto, she worked as the Program Director for Pawsitively Pets where she worked with and continued to educate children about different types of exotic animals. Sabrina completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University in Melbourne in Australia where she gained valuable experience working with farm animals in the rural setting as well as seeing more exotic animals up close in their unique homes in the wilderness. Completing many different veterinary placements both in Australia and Canada, including previously working with Dr Luckwaldt, has prepared Sabrina for the challenge of helping as many different species of animal as she can, and has strengthened her love for them even more. Sabrina has come full circle now working in and moving back to the East York neighbourhood that she first called home. Sabrina and her husband enjoy spending time cheering on the Raptors with their cat Mia, and dog Toby.

Dr. Karen Macmillan-Wuebbolt

Associate Veterinarian

My best friend, Frisky, defended me against a rabid fox. At the tender age of five, something changed inside of me when I saw the OSPCA take my cat away with a rabies pole. A veterinarian was born. I graduated from the University of Guelph with an honours degree in Biomedical Science. In 2002, I graduated with my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ontario Veterinary College. ‘Neurologic complications following treatment of canine hypoadrenocorticism,’ was my first published journal article as a Veterinarian. I learned how to be a practitioner at clinics across Toronto. I made sure all my patients were vaccinated for rabies. My husband and I settled in the Beaches in 2010. During the renovation of our house, we were blessed with the birth of our son. Our family is complete with our fur babies including Vader our tuxedo cat, and Rousey the Bengal. I am excited to start a new adventure, meeting all of the adorable cats and dogs at Greenwood Park Animal Hospital.
